I never thought I’d have one, but with the current state of affairs, I think I’ve found many. Not only in my personal life have people come forward against me, (family, friends, the once-trusted) but now my nation has sought the destruction of my values and rights and the values and rights of many others.
This should not be said quietly but with a voice that never tires of screaming for justice!
We have to stand together to defend our rights!
This Independence Day is for the fallen and the brave, not the rich or entitled!
I will not back down in my beliefs, values, nor my rights! Conformity will kill us all and capitalism is the driving force for the fascist regime they want us to bow to!
I will defy them and their racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, neo-nazi, white supremacies, fascist ideologies!
I bend the knee for no king, nor pretenders to a phantom throne. I suggest you do the same.
Fight for your freedom, the freedom this day was meant to be a reminder of. Make your own way, follow your own heart, do what is true to you.
Never let them silence you!
